It's me Amrit! I have a "Gravity" review for u guys!

It's called "Peace Makers", By: Duncan Jennings. This is what he had to say.

"Many times at No. 1 Canadian rock band Our Lady Peace have come out with their fifth album, Gravity. Already, songs like "Innocent" and "Somewhere Out There" have topped the charts. And the group, led by siger Raine Maida, seems to keep better.

I started liking OLP the minute I heard "Superman's Dead" from the band's classic 1997 album Clumsy. Right away, I became a big fan of the group's intense, emotional brand of music. Like most people, I became familar with the band's first hit "Starseed," from their debut album, Naveed. But I was much more addicted to other Clumsy songs, especially "4am" and "Automatic Flowers." Then, as OLP progressed on their next albums, the one with the clever title, Happiness.

Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch, and the problem-related Spiritual Machines, I became attracted to such songs as "One Man Army," "Thief" "Is Anybody Home" and "Life".

When Gravity first came out, I didn't think I was going to like the album as much as the group's previous ones. For one thing, the group had lost its guitarist Mike Turner, who was replaced by Steve Mazur. And I didn't think OLP would be able to keep the sound I loved. But I found that there were several songs that sounded every bit as good as the music on Clumsy and Happiness.

"Somewhere Out There" is a ballad about searching for a lost friend, in which Maida's aching voice gives a strong atmosphere to the song.

"Innocent" is another slower one about the confusion of people who aren't sure who they are. The lyrics in this one are really meaningful. Maida sings about Johnny, who "spends his time alone in the basement with a Lennon and Cobain..
while he wishes he could escape," and Tina, who's "losing faith in what she knows/hates her music/hates all of her clothes."

Our Lady Peace is best at sending out these kinds of messages to its audience. Gravity has a good range of songs: some loud, some soft, some slow, some fast. I would recommend it to anyone who likes pwerful music."
