There were more OLP fans there then at Reno. There were no acts except OLP and 3DD a this show. They came on around 8ish. They opened with All for you into Whatever., followed by Superman's Dead and Innocent. They then said we like to do two new songs. Explain the first one was about how people can look you in the eye almost lying to you, but have a smirk on their face before doing WTSOYF. This time instead of saying * This is war* he sang * this is San Francisco* to cheers form the crowd. During WIC(which to me has a funky danceable beat) he spoke to the balcony audience telling everyone to stand up. *This isn't a church. This is a fucking rock and roll show, let's see everyone get up and put your hands together like this clapping)* It was cool to see the balcony getting into the song. Remember this is mostly a 3DD crowd so it was nice to see people who might not necessarily be OLP fans getting into it. It was awesome as always to watch Birdman. Between Steve and Jeremy 's playing on this song it just blows my mind. Plus as Raine walked over to Steve he just bashes the symbol with his hand really getting into it. He laid on the stage during the solo and go up slowly to finish the song. They did the first 3 lines of MLK into Starseed. The ending was pretty wild. Steve took the mike stand and ran it up the neck of the guitar, then sort of made a bow like(ala-Page) along the body.-before pushing it on the ground. WOW.  My friend (Christal) and I were blown away by this. I said give him time before the Page moves come in. All in all it was a fun show. They definitely have gotten better as a live act over the last few months. You can see it in the performance. Christal and I were even saying to Steve how far he has come along since the first shows of last year.

We got to speak to Raine and Steve after the show.  Raine told us that the new material would be rockier then Gravity. That they were going back into the studio to record more music and choose from all the songs.  That they were aiming for more of the old U2 song rock. That they hoped to have it out by March. I also told him he should consider doing Oct into Starseed. He said he have to remember that. All in all it was good to see the band again.
