Review by Pat
I have seen OLP many times in the past and I
consider them to be one of the best bands in the world. Unfortunately, on this
the "last big show before xmas" according to Raine, lacked a lot of luster. This
is the first show of theirs I have since their latest release. The classics
sounded as good as ever, but the new songs DO NOT sound good live. I'm sorry.
Pciture, Angels/Losing/Sleep, and so forth are not good live songs. They need to
forget about this CD and remember what got them to where they are (Spiritual
Machines is my fav.). I still love OLP, but I was not impressed tonight, it
seemed like Raine didn't care, which shocked me.
