There seems to be some confusion about whether or not "Happiness..." has a hidden track or not.  We wrote to the LM regarding this matter and this is the reply we received:

I sent out a correction in the last digest (#173), where I explained that I mis-typed. What I meant to say was that there is NO (!) hidden track. At least that was what I was told. Sorry for the confusion.

Even though "Happiness..." may not contain a hidden track, we will continue  our "fishing pole."   It is interesting to see what other people think should be the hidden track...if there was one.

Still wondering whether Track #12, "Bate Motel- The Hitmen" listed on HMV.com is really one of the songs on "Happiness..."???? Well wonder no more,  we emailed HMV about this matter and here is what they said:

We have checked with Sony Music and can confirm that the new Our Lady Peace CD has only 11 tracks.  The 12 track listed on our web-site ("Bate Motel - The Hitmen") is a programming error and will be removed from the details page of the CD.

We apologize for the confusion and thank you for bringing the problem to our attention.

Thanks to "BendThisWay" on CC for news from Edmonton:
From The Edmonton Journal, Sat Sept.4/99
The members of Our Lady Peace are goingall  out for the release of their third album, Happiness...Is Not A Fish That You Can Catch.  A week from Monday, on Sept. 13 at 9pm, the quartet will be performing some of their new (and old) songs on 100.3 The Bear radio station.  Our Lady Peace will also answer questions from Edmonton fans during the 30-minute special. The program is just one of many the band is doing for radio stations across the country.  To make it easier on Raine Maida and his pals, they'll be based in a Sony studio in Toronto- so don't go rushing over to The Bear to try and catcha glimpse of 'em.  They won't be there.

Who knows, in order to avoid all the screaming fans, they may simulcast from Sony to The Edge as well?  We made a call to The Edge, and he "Thinks" they are going to be there live, but he is not sure.  We will post more info as it becomes available.

September 3, 1999
