Point of View needs your help.  What is POV, you ask?  They are an alternative, rock band from the Ottawa area who are influenced by OLP.  Currently, they are finalists in the Taste of Chaos Tour 2006 and if they get enough votes, they will get to play with such acts as Thrice, Atreyu, Silverstein. Story of the Year, and the Deftones when the tour comes to Ottawa.   This is how you can help.  Go to the Taste of Chaos myspace site, click on Corel Centre in the tour schedule and choose Point of View.  Don't wait too long as voting ends on January 6th. Thanks to Kevin, the guitarist of POV, for sending in this info.  Good luck Point of View!

Our friend Matt has asked us to post the following message which can also be found on the Clumsy Congress and Clumsy Monkey:
Just a quick idea I came up with to have an Internet/Worldwide Moment of Silence, Thought or Prayer to send out good vibes and wishes to the OLP Family. No one is really sure what happened, nor is it any of our business, but we hear now that everyone is OK. But,still, I am sure that the Band and their families could use a little extra support at this time. So, since they're taking a few extra weeks off, let's all synchronize our watches for 6PM ET this Wednesday 10/26. Play a song, say a prayer, be silent for a few moments with all positive thoughts and feelings going out to the OLP family. They have done so much for us over the years, Let's give a little back to them.
